PCC honors 9/11 victims, heroes

On Wednesday, Sept. 11, PCC held a brief ceremony in memory of the victims of the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. Held at the Cascade Campus Borthwick Mall, students, faculty, and staff from the college’s Fire Protection Technology, Criminal Justice Administration, Emergency Medical Services, Emergency Management, and 9-1-1 Dispatch Services departments, as well as staff from PCC Public Safety, were on hand along with representatives from various City of Portland emergency services agencies.

I am hoping we can do a similar event for Memorial Day for all our public services and military. It would be nice to do another large collaborative event.
