On Thursday, Sept. 11, faculty, administrators and students gathered at the Borthwick Mall on the Cascade Campus to pay respects to the fallen of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States. Speakers included College President Jeremy Brown, who talked about the impact the day had on everyone, and Cascade Campus President Karin Edwards, who related a personal story of victims from the tragedy. A crowd of about 100 people, including Fire Science and Emergency Services students and faculty, were in attendance along with the President’s Cabinet and emergency personnel from the community.
