Ready to get your pingpong on?

It’s that time of year for the second annual Roger Frank Memorial Scholarship Pingpong Party & Tournament from 3-6 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 21, at Pips & Bounce, 833 S.E. Belmont St. This promises to be an afternoon of fun and pingpong for PCC staff, faculty, students and community members. All proceeds from the party and tournament will be donated to the Roger Frank Memorial Scholarship Fund for PCC students through the PCC Foundation.

The late Roger Frank, who was a paraplegic, worked as a PCC counselor. Even though he worked and lived from a wheelchair, Frank’s big pleasure was playing pingpong with family and friends. After his death in 2012, a group of Roger Frank’s family, friends and colleagues decided to fund the Roger Frank Memorial Scholarship by sponsoring an annual pingpong party and tournament to benefit students.
To help students and have some pingpong fun, register for the party at: http://pcc.edu/about/events/roger-frank/.
