Almost 10,000 PCC students enroll in distance learning classes each term. To make those learning experiences better, PCC Distance Education has recently adopted a new learning management system called Desire2Learn. It will replace the WebCT/Blackboard system the college has been using since 1998. “We selected Desire2Learn because it supports a variety of new features to enhance teaching and learning,” said John Sneed, director of distance education.
