Karen Kane

Karen Kane is the Community Relations Manager for the Sylvania Campus. A passionate storyteller and communicator, Karen has told the stories for several organizations in Portland, including the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry and the Oregon Zoo. During her travels around the world, she wrote for numerous national and international magazines. She has also authored children's books and natural history titles, including America's Rainforest and Wilderness Remembered. An avid sailor and mountain climber, she spends her free time on the Columbia River and in Sisters, Oregon.
