PCC Now Has News and Information on the Web
Photos and Story by Susan Hereford
The Public Affairs office of Portland Community College is now delivering news and information from PCC’s World Wide Web page, http://pcc.edu. Go to the PCC home page, then click on the "e-news" icon; the graphic with a dog carrying a newspaper in its mouth. The "e-news" site is separated into several different categories. A main feature will be posted, often with photos or graphics and will run for several consecutive weeks; other shorter press release-type items will be updated weekly. There is also a story archive category and another on internet news which selects items of interest from the internet affecting PCC and other community colleges.
"We are very excited about this new way of conveying news and information about Portland Community College and hope it will give media and other interested individuals an efficient way to access PCC news," said Susan Hereford, media relations manager. "Information can be downloaded and used as needed."
