PCC Instructor Named "Teacher Of The Year."

Portland Community College instructor Karen Jolly, chair of the Computer Applications Systems/Office Systems department at the Sylvania Campus, has received the "Post-Secondary Teacher Of The Year" award from the Oregon Business and Management Educators Association. The award was made to Jolly by second vice president Karen Angel at the association’s annual conference on Oct. 11.
Criteria used in determining the winner of the award were a combination of teaching philosophy, community involvement and contributions to the organization.
Karen Jolly has taught at PCC for 11 years and is a resident of Southwest Portland.
