ROCK CREEK — Have a tough time talking with your mate? How about your boss? Learn more precise skills for getting your point across — both personally and professionally — in two for-credit classes offered at Portland Community College’s Rock Creek Campus starting Sept. 22.
In Gender and Communication, find out what men and women mean when they talk, and what it is about our respective genders that shape how we think and communicate. Business and Professional Speech Communication covers the climates and settings as well as the philosophies and practices of organizational communication, and the use of visual aids in briefings and presentations.
Tuition is $108 per class. Both three-credit classes meet in Building 3, Room 225, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays through Dec. 12. The Business class meets from 10 to 11 a.m., and the Gender course meets from 12 to 1 p.m. Rock Creek Campus is located at 17705 N.W. Springville Rd. For more information, please dial PCC at 614-7248.
