Free Intros on PCC Small Business ProgramThis Summer

All business owners seeking the skills to grow their business now have the opportunity through free information session this summer on the PCC Small Business Development Center’s Small Business Management Program.

Set for Wednesday nights from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at various locations, Introduction to Our Small Business Management Program will give business owners an overview of the programs and will be accepting applications for admission to the 1998-99 series, which begins in September.

SBDC counselor and instructor Galen Sarvinski will lead the free sessions, which will include information on the program, admission requirements, application procedures and fees.

The sessions will be held on the following dates at these locations:
July 15 Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce, 334 S.E. 5th Ave., Hillsboro.
July 29 Central Portland Workforce Training Center, 1626 S.E. Water Ave., Room 202.
Aug. 19 — Columbia Center, 875 S.E. 18th St., St. Helens.
Sept. 2 Washington County Workforce Training Center, 18624 S.W. Walker Road, Beaverton, Room 1563.
Sept. 9 Small Business Development Center, Montgomery Park, 2701 N.W. Vaughn, Room 730.

The Small Business Management Program is designed for the entrepreneur who has been in business for at least one year. Classes are held once a month for 10 months, and include individualized business counseling.
