The exhibition features the work of 25 artists teaching at Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) in Manchester, England a leading university in the country that offers intensive art training.

Shown in various media will be the work of MMU faculty members who double as professional working artists. These artists have extensive exhibition records in England, throughout Europe, the United States, South America, the Middle East and Asia.

"This is an unusual opportunity for Portlanders to see contemporary art made from a British point of view," Hugh Webb, director of the gallery, said recently.

The hours for the Northview Gallery are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. The gallery is located at the Sylvania Campus, 12000 S.W. 49th Ave., in the CT Building, Room 214.
