At PCC You Are Never Too Old to be a Computer Wiz

NEWBERG – Do you feel that you are simply too old to get on the information super highway? Do you think the world of computers has passed you by? Well, let Portland Community College equip you with the right computer skills so you can get out of the slow lane and into the fast lane. You will be able to be proficient in computer terminology, keyboarding, mouse functions and know how to access and use software in PCC’s non-credit course Introduction to Computers for Seniors Level I. This class, taught by instructor Todd Kunz, is designed for older adults with no previous computer experience.The course curriculum is designed to be easily understood and will enable older students to become "wizzes" on their home PCs in no time. The three-week class will run every Monday from 6-9 p.m., starting Monday, Sept. 25 and ending Oct. 9. The course will be held in room 101 at Newberg High School, located at 1300 Elliot Road in Newberg. The cost of Introduction to Computers for Seniors Level I is $94.
