Financial Planning Class Looks at Present, Future

BEAVERTON – The basics of financial planning will be the focus of a three-week, non-credit class being offered this fall by Portland Community College. Financial and Life Stage Planning will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays, Sept. 26 through Oct. 10, in room 206 at Southridge High School, 9625 S.W. 125th Ave. Marsha Yandell, a certified financial planner, will teach basic financial planning concepts for various stages of life. Topics include cash management, investment choices, retirement and real estate planning. The cost of the class is $20. A $25 reference notebook will be available for purchase at class.
