Investment Strategies Class Looks Toward Retirement

TIGARD – Investment strategies to reach financial goals will be explored in a four-week, non-credit course being offered this fall by Portland Community College.Who Wants to Earn a Million? will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays, Sept. 26 through Oct. 17, in room E72 at Tigard High School, 9000 S.W. Durham Road. The cost is $24. Instructor Craig Lewelling will offer advice on how to structure a savings and investment plan starting with as little as $2,000 to earn as much as $1 million for retirement. Topics include stocks, bonds, mutual funds, market cycles, and buying and selling. Class size is limited, and pre-registration is encouraged.
