Five-part Travel Series Offered at PCC

PORTLAND, Ore. – A five-part travel series is being offered winter term at Portland Community College. The non-credit series will meet on three separate Saturdays in HT 223 at PCC’s Sylvania Campus, 12000 S.W. 49th Ave. Tuition is $65 for the entire series or $15 for individual sessions.The series begins with Packing Light, led by instructor Joan Weigant. The class will be held from 1 to 3 p.m., Jan. 12. The countries of Greece and Turkey will be highlighted during separate sessions on Feb. 16. Greece will be explored from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Turkey from 2 to 4 p.m. These classes will be taught by Julie Coen. The series concludes March 2 with two separate sessions, with Colleen Cox as the presenter. The first session, focusing on the countries of Germany, Austria and Switzerland, will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A session on Budgeting for travel will be held from 2 to 4 p.m.For more information, contact PCC Community Education at 503-731-6692.
