Learn to Sell Your House at PCC

PORTLAND, Ore. – Homeowners can learn the ins and outs of selling a home during Getting Your House Ready to Sell, a non-credit winter term class being offered at Portland Community College.The class will meet from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Thursdays, Jan. 17-31, in AM 125 on PCC’s Sylvania Campus, 12000 S.W. 49th Ave. Tuition is $20. A $7 fee for a workbook and handouts is payable to the instructor.Instructor Bob Buck is a licensed home inspector and contractor. With the help of guest speakers experienced in various specialty areas, he will discuss developing a plan for selling, marketing strategies, using a realtor versus selling by owner, home inspections, appraisals, repairs and modifications, financing options for repairs and tax sheltering.For more information, contact PCC Community Education at 503-731-6692.
