Free Lectures Uncover Best Home, Work Relationships

BEAVERTON, Ore. – Portland Community College and the Cedar Mill Library will team up to present six free noon lectures on Wednesdays this fall. Beaverton Noon Lecture Series includes a slate of topics designed to provide a stimulating and empowering alternative to the traditional lunch hour.The series starts Oct. 2 with Finally Feeling Good About Who You Are!; Oct. 9 features Healthy Relationships at Work and Home; Oct. 16 takes a look at Good Grief – There Is Life After Loss; Oct. 23 features The Pyschology of Success; and Oct. 30 covers How to Avoid Knee Jerk Reactions. The lectures conclude Nov. 6 with Interpersonal Stress Savvy. Each non-credit lecture meets from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesdays at the Cedar Mill Library, 12505 N.W. Cornell.
