Multi-level Marketing or Pyramid Scheme? PCC Course Explains Pitfalls

BEAVERTON, Ore. – Learn the difference between sound business opportunities and pyramid schemes through The Truth About Multi-Level Marketing, a one-day Portland Community College non-credit class in October. Instructors Paul Iarrabino and Dixon Elliot will help students learn about compensation plans and how network marketing differs from a traditional job or franchise. Students will discover safe ways to start a small business, earn extra money and determine if multi-level marketing meets their lifestyle goals. The class will meet from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 12, in Room 1520 of PCC’s Capital Center, 18624 N.W. Walker Road, Beaverton.
