Free Lecture Series Empowers Change, Unlocks Potential

BEAVERTON, Ore. – Spend your lunch hour by feeding your mind as well as your appetite. This winter Portland Community College will team up with the Cedar Mill Library to present six free noon lectures on Wednesdays. The Beaverton Noon Lecture Series includes a slate of topics designed to help you take charge and live your best life. The series starts Jan. 29 with Unlock Your Potential; Feb. 5 features Job Search Strategies; Feb. 12 takes a look at Understanding and Resolving Conflict; Feb. 19 features Dynamic Weight Loss; and Feb. 26 covers Organizing Your Home. The lectures conclude March 5 with Part of Me Wants to Go, Part of Me Wants to Stay. Each non-credit lecture meets from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesdays at the Cedar Mill Library, 12505 N.W. Cornell.
