PCC Class Takes Wraps off Creative Process

PORTLAND, Ore. – Get in touch with your creative side. All it takes is an open mind and an adventurous spirit. Portland Community College will show you how with Living Playfully: Art for Non-Artists, a non-credit class. Instructor Lelainya M. Tollner will guide students through exploring the creative process in this no-pressure class. Using collage, pencil, paint, pastel and more, Tollner shows students how to overcome their "self-blocks,"reduce stress, and infuse daily life with creativity. The class will be held from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays, Jan. 8 through Feb. 26, in Room 239 at Grant High School, 2245 N.E. 36th. Cost is $80. A supply list will be provided in class.
