PORTLAND, Ore. – For this Portland Community College band, the music is about all that jazz and more. The PCC Jazz Band is a high-energy, 40-member strong group based at the college’s Cascade Campus. The eclectic band is quickly becoming one of the more popular local acts in Portland, wowing audiences at such venues as the NW Car Classic Show at the Expo Center on Sunday, Oct. 27."The organizers raved about our performance and invited us back in 2003,"said band member Ken Stine.
