New Directions class for Columbia County

ST. HELENS, Ore. Portland Community College is offering a New Directions class for fall term. The free four-credit, 12-week class is designed to help women in transition make positive changes in their lives and to emphasize identifying and removing barriers to success. An orientation will be held in St. Helens on Wednesday, Aug. 27. There is limited space for the orientation and class. The program is tuition free and is offered each term. Its emphasis is self-sufficiency, confidence building and developing job-finding skills.
