PCC Theater Arts Presents ?Fuddy Meers'

SYLVANIA CAMPUS — The Theater Arts department at Portland Community College presents the David Lindsay-Abaire play, "Fuddy Meers."The comedy is the story of a woman with a rare form of amnesia whose life is turned upside down. This upheaval reveals deep and dark secrets of her past. The many zany twists and turns in the plot will keep you guessing until the curtain comes down.Show time for "Fuddy Meers"will be 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 13-15 and 20-22 in the Performing Arts Center on the Sylvania Campus, 12000 S.W. 49th Ave. Tickets are $5 for students and seniors, and $7 for the general admission audience. Tickets go on sale Thursday, Oct. 30 at the Sylvania Campus Bookstore, or by phone at 503-977-4949. The PAC box office will also sell tickets one hour before show time.The student cast includes Alaina M. Lesko (southeast Portland) as Claire, Jonathon Hall (northeast Portland) as Richard, Danny Moore (southeast Portland) as Kenny, Adam Higgins (southwest Portland) as Limping Man, Heather Beavens (Hillsboro) as Gertie, Nic Costa (southeast Portland) as Millet, and Jessica Lynn Parker (Wilsonville) as Heidi. The production will also be the final PCC play directed by theater arts instructor Sue Parks-Hilden, a resident of Lake Oswego, who is retiring. Also behind the scenes, Dan Hays (northeast Portland) will serve as technical director and lighting designer; Ariella Corson (southwest Portland) as directing assistant; Kortney Barber (Aloha) is the stage manager; costuming by Margaret Chapman (Lake Oswego); makeup by Dianne Trap (northeast Portland); and guest scenic designer Tim Stapleton (southeast Portland).The show will be interpreted for the hearing-impaired on Thursday, Nov. 20.
