PCC dance program offers concert

SYLVANIA CAMPUS — More than 100 Portland Community College dance students, using a wide array of dance forms, will take center stage in the college’s annual dance presentation.The concert will be held at 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 10 in the Sylvania Campus’ Performing Arts Center, 12000 S.W. 49th Ave. PCC dance students will perform works of ballet, jazz dance, modern dance, Flamenco, and Afro-Brazilian dance, featuring choreography by dance instructors and students. Students in theater instructor Dan Hays’ stage lighting class will design and operate the lights for the show. A suggested donation at the door is $3 for adults and $2 for students and seniors. Donations benefit the PCC Foundation Dance Fund. For more information, call 503-977-4043.
