Madden partners with college
For Ken Madden, it just makes sense to be a part of Portland Community College. Madden is vice president of sales and marketing for the Beaverton-based Madden Industrial Craftsmen, Inc. Recently, the Madden family created an endowed scholarship fund through the PCC Foundation to provide tuition, fees and books for students in the college's Building Construction Technology program. Cascade construction activity leads bond program
Portland Community College has made great strides this spring in the overall transformation of the college's north Portland Cascade Campus. PCC is investing $57 million in four new buildings, a major expansion of the science building Jackson Hall, which was completed last fall, and the remodeling of existing facilities.
