Designer selects best trees to plant for your garden in PCC class

BEAVERTON, Ore. – Landscape designer Marci Degman knows which leafy bowers will add dimension and beauty to your garden. Get Degman’s individualized plan for your garden with a new non-credit class offered by Portland Community College. The perfect time to take Landscape Trees is this fall, when tree planting is at its best. Join Degman’s one-night class to choose the right trees for your landscape as well as gain tips for planting and growing them. The class includes a slideshow of trees that work best in the Northwest. The class will meet from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28, at PCC’s Capital Center, 18624 N.W. Walker Road. Cost is $19. For more information, contact PCC Community Education at 503-533-2707.
