New online service helps PCC job postings

PORTLAND, Ore. – The Human Resources department at Portland Community College will have a new online job posting system, beginning Monday, Nov. 1.The new on-line job posting and employment application system is an integrated, all-inclusive employment site developed in partnership with PeopleAdmin.com. It will facilitate and automate many of the labor-intensive, paper-driven aspects of the recruitment, employment application and hiring process. Job seekers can access the PCC Job Opportunities site starting Nov. 1 at jobs.pcc.edu.For job seekers, the new system means individuals can view and apply for job postings using the system’s integrated online features; and maintain a password- protected user account. Also, PCC staff can initiate the hiring processes online and have 24/7 access from anywhere. Also, they can save resources with a paperless review and coding of resumes; initiate job specific pre-screening questions to screen applicants for minimum qualifications; and easily track applicant records and statistics.
