PORTLAND, Ore. – Flowers are not the only colorful additions you can make to your garden this spring. Portland Community College will show you how to create color that lasts year round with a non-credit mosaic art class.Garden Mosaics is designed to give your garden or patio a makeover with artwork that you make yourself. Instructor and mosaic artist David Peroff will lead students to craft stepping-stones, flowerpots or murals all made with materials that are especially chosen to withstand Portland weather elements. By personally pairing colors and textures side-by-side, students will emerge from the class with artwork that blends best with their homes. The three-part class will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays, March 29 through April 12, in Room 127 of Mt. Tabor Hall at PCC’s Southeast Center, 2305 S.E. 82nd Ave. Cost is $75.For more information, contact PCC Community Education at 503-788-6265.
