PORTLAND, Ore. – People who are over 50 and thinking about retiring have an opportunity to discover their passion and purpose in order to build a meaningful retirement. Life by Design is offering free assessments and workshops that will gauge a person’s personality and help them explore and choose the post-retirement life that best suits them. The following assessments and workshops are all held at Portland Community College’s Central Portland Workforce Training Center (1626 S.E. Water Ave.): Assessment Workshop – 8:30 to 12:30 a.m., Friday, March 25. Participants will take two self-assessments designed to provide feedback on work values and personality. Think of Your Future Class – 6:30 to 9 p.m., March 22, 29 and April 5 and 12. This class will focus on the philosophy of retirement, time use, working options and focus on promoting a healthy lifestyle. Life Planning for the Third Age Class – 6 to 8 p.m., March 30 and April 6, 13 and 20.
