PCC makes 'cents' of your tax return

BEAVERTON, Ore. – Tax time is right around the corner dont be caught off guard. Let Portland Community College guide you in a non-credit income tax class designed to get the most out of your income tax return. It can be tricky, but Making ‘Cents’ of your Income Tax Return will break the steps down so that you actually end up saving money at tax time. Instructor Jessica Amos will offer a practical understanding of your tax return by explaining the basics about forms, deductions and credits. You will emerge prepared to handle your own return, or to help your tax professional by knowing the benefits of tax saving ideas and more. The one-day class will meet from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, in Room A10 of Whitford Middle School, 7935 S.W. Scholls Ferry Road. Cost is $27.
