PCC christens new building at Cascade Campus

PORTLAND, Ore. – The final piece to the Cascade Campus’ 2000 construction bond puzzle is now complete – the Daniel F. Moriarty Arts and Humanities Building. The facility is named after former PCC President Dan Moriarty, who retired from the college in 2001 after 15 years at the helm of the state’s largest institution of higher education. WHAT: The grand opening celebration of the Daniel F. Moriarty Arts and Humanities Building and Terrell Hall addition and remodel. The event will also highlight Cascade Campus’ 35 years of service to the community. The ceremony will feature a gift presentation to Moriarty, dedication proclamation and ribbon-cutting. There will also be self-guided tours of the new facilities, refreshments and live music by the Gene Smith Trio.WHEN: 3 to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 12.WHERE: The Daniel F.
