PCC's Gateway to College taking new students

PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland Community College’s nationally-recognized high school completion program, Gateway to College, is taking students for spring term.The orientation sessions are the first step in applying for the Gateway to College program, which serves 16-to-20 year olds who don’t have a high school diploma and are behind in credits for their age and grade level. The Gateway to College program targets students who have left high school, or are at risk of leaving high school before graduating. The program serves students from the Portland Public, Beaverton, Hillsboro, Tigard/Tualatin, and Lake Oswego school districts.Orientations are 2 to 5 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 16 in Room 248, Building 2 at the Rock Creek Campus, 17705 N.W. Springville Road; Monday, Feb. 20, 6 to 9 p.m. in MTH 135 at the Southeast Center, 2305 S.E. 82nd and Division; Monday, Feb. 27 from 6 to 9 p.m., Room 245 of Building 2 at Rock Creek; and Tuesday, March 7 from 2 to 5 p.m. in MSH 205 at the Southeast Center.Reservations are required.
