Medical/Dental Employers Showcase comes to PCC

PORTLAND, Ore. – Those seeking a medical career can get a check up on the health of the job market by attending Portland Community College’s Medical/Dental Employer Showcase. There will be more than 20 healthcare employers at the showcase from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 28 in the CC Building Upper Mall at the Sylvania Campus, 12000 S.W. 49th Ave. Students, graduates, and the public are invited to attend the event and discuss career opportunities with some of the areas most respected employers. Companies in attendance include: Willamette Dental Group, Legacy Health System, Kaiser Permanente, OHSU Nursing, Artisan Dental Lab, The Portland Clinic, Salem Hospital, Willamette View, Marquis Companies, Maryville, Nursing Home, Willamette Valley Medical Center, Gentech Dentist, Dental Medical Staffing Inc., Wave Form Systems, Dahlin/Fernandez/Fritz Dental Lab, Gentle Dental, Tuality Healthcare, Multnomah County, All’s Well Health Care Services, MSMP Medical Placement Services, Multnomah County Health Department and the U.S. Army Health Care Team. Healthcare is one of the largest industries in Oregon and employment opportunities in the field are expected to double the next ten years. PCC is meeting the demands of the healthcare industry by training and graduating qualified candidates in multiple medical and dental programs. In addition, the industry employs individuals that specialize in information technology, office support, accounting, and business services, to name a few.
