Dalai Lama teachings focus of non-credit offering

PORTLAND, Ore. – The Dalai Lama teaches the inner riches of innate wisdom, universal compassion and global responsibility. Learn more about him through a non-credit Portland Community College class.

In the class, Recent Teachings of the Dalai Lama, Jacqueline Mandell recently received teachings from the Dalai Lama in New York City. As a result, she will present current as well as timeless teachings she learned from this well-known spiritual leader. The class will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m., Thursdays, Oct. 5 through Oct. 19 in Room 143 at Lincoln High School, 1600 SW Salmon Street. Cost is $39.
