Flu shots at Rock Creek Nov. 8

Photos and Story by

Washington County’s Health Department, along with PCC’s Rock Creek Campus, is sponsoring a free flu shot clinic from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 8 at the campus. People must be 18 years, or older to receive the vaccine.

People who are up to 49 years of age may opt to receive FluMist, a “live virus” vaccine which is delivered as a nasal spray. Everyone else will receive the conventional flu shot.

There will be 1,000 doses available, but because this event is free, it is expected to run out. So, come early!
