Ballot boxes to be stationed all over PCC district

Photos and Story by

Election day is quickly approaching and PCC is trying to help facilitate voter participation among students, staff and faculty. The Faculty Federation will again have locked ballot boxes in place at Cascade, Rock Creek and Sylvania campuses as well as the Southeast, Portland Metro and Washington County workforce training centers.

This will allow students and staff to save a stamp and free them from worrying about missing the deadline to submit their ballot. People can drop off their signed, sealed ballot any time up to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 6. The ballot boxes will be emptied every couple of days and their contents delivered to the appropriate elections offices. Ballots can be for any county in Oregon.

Ballot boxes will be at the following locations:

Cascade Information Desk, SC “Street”

Rock Creek Bldg 3 Student Help Desk

Southeast Information Desk, Mt. Tabor Hall

Sylvania Information Desk, CC Upper Mall

WCWTC Information Desk, Entrance B

Portland Metro Main Office
