Learn to use new Microsoft Word program
Photos and Story by James Hill
This winter, Portland Community College will offer an online class designed to teach the basics of the new Word 2007 software and will make students look like a pro in a few short weeks.
The non-credit class, Word 2007: Level I, will include everything one needs to know to get started. Instructor Craig Power will cover how to create and modify documents in Word 2007, the most popular word-processing program available. Attendees will learn how to add, move through, and edit text, move words from one part of your document to another, work on two or more documents simultaneously, change the size or appearance of text, change margins and tab settings, and much more.
Held entirely online, the class will be offered three times this winter: Jan. 16 through Feb. 22, Feb. 20 through March 28, and March 19 through April 25. Cost is $89. To register, e-mail email@example.com, or visit www.OurCoursesComeToYou.com.
