Theatre Club pushes art form to the edge with innovative productions

The Sylvania Campus Theatre Arts Club is hosting two upcoming shows that promise to entertain. All shows are free and start at 3 p.m., Dec. 2-5, Little Theatre, Sylvania.

The Mini Acts are three short plays written and directed by PCC students. The show include:

“Uni-pooper: An Interrogation of Smelly Proportions”
Written by Wesley K. Heuston
Directed by Amanda Modrell

“Teepee Girl: Vision Quest”

A Girl goes on a Spiritual journey to find her spirit animal only to find out that it is not what she thought it would be.

Written and Directed by Heather Hawkins and Jennifer Mercede

“Title Goes Here”

Some Cops and Cases are just not what they seem to be.

Written and Directed by Matt Rivera

The club is also putting on a 24-hour Play Festival where four plays have been conceived, written, rehearsed and performed in less than 24 hours. Come see what happens when students have too much coffee, no sleep and an impending deadline.
