Victoria Haight presents on 'Advocacy: Supporting Your Child in Special Education'

Victoria Haight of the Oregon Parent Teacher Information Center presented a workshop, “Advocacy: Supporting Your Child in Special Education,” to a packed room at the Sylvania Campus this month. Topics addressed included the environment of school systems, qualities of effective advocates and negotiation techniques, among others. The workshop was organized by Talia Potter of the Sylvania Women’s Resource Center and the Student Parent Network.
