The Vagina Monologues set

Photos and Story by

The ninth annual production of “The Vagina Monologues,” hosted by PCC Sylvania’s Women’s Resource Center, is set for Friday, Feb. 13 and Saturday, Feb. 14 at 7 p.m., and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 15. The production takes place in Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $12 for students and $15 for general admission; group discounts are available.

Proceeds support V-Day, a global movement to end violence and oppression against women and girls. In the past eight years of performing “The Vagina Monologues,” the Women’s Resource Center has raised more than $80,000 for programs focused on this kind work. This year’s proceeds will support women and girls in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Illumination Project (a social justice theater project) and Portland’s African Women’s Coalition.

For more information, contact Sierra Lander at the Women’s Resource Center at (503) 977-8101.
