Dragon Boat Team taking members, gearing up for season

The PCC Dragon Boat Team is accepting new recruits for its 2009 spring season. Every year, the team participates in local and regional races, culminating with the Rose Festival Dragon Boat Races. Recruits should be physically fit, well coordinated, have no fear o water, possess a good sense of rhythm and be a team player. Practices start the first week of April, Mondays and Wednesdays, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., at Riverplace Marina, Thomas McCall Park. The team’s first race of the season will be Sunday, April 26.
