Oregon Public Broadcasting just posted the following Associated Press brief, regarding the student population at PCC growing older:

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — An aging population and the recession are boosting the ranks of older students at Portland Community College.

The school says the number of full-time equivalent students 50 or older taking career and professional technical courses has increased by nearly 19 percent since 2006.
