PCC launches Web site regarding H1N1 flu

Portland Community College has launched a Web site with information regarding the H1N1 or swine flu that has arrived in Oregon.

The site contains a visual of frequently asked questions, links to news sites, and communications from President Preston Pulliams, his Cabinet at the PCC Pandemic Commiittee.

According to the Public Health Division of Oregon Department of Human Services, As of Sunday, there are three confirmed cases of H1N1 influenza virus in Oregon. Two of the confirmed cases are in Multnomah County and one is in Polk County. Oregon had identified 19 probable cases of H1N1 influenza virus.

Of the total 22 probable and confirmed cases statewide, seven are, children, four are teens and 11 are adults. The cases include 10 males and 12 females.
