The PCC Foundation is offering a chance to see the Winterhawks play the Seattle Thunderbirds at the Rose Garden and donate to a good cause. On Friday, October 22, a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will go toward the PCC Foundation to help at-risk students in Multnomah County schools go to college. Puck drop is at 7 p.m.

Brad Ross will be a key star this year for the Portland Winterhawks. He was a second round selection of the Toronto Maple Leafs and is considered a top star in major junior hockey.

In order for PCC students to benefit from this funding, they must mention Portland Community College when they call to reserve tickets. For the 100 level, tickets are $19 for adults and $16 for kids. On the 200 level, tickets are $14 for adults and $12 for kids.

This is PCC’s night at the Rose Garden so come out and show Panther pride, and wear your PCC gear! There will be giveaways, special events and acknowledgements. When purchasing the tickets, fans will be asked for their e-mail addresses for updates on the game and the planned activities.

To get tickets, call Steve Coleman and mention “PCC,” at (503) 238-6366. ext. 11, or email him at: stevec@winterhawks.com
