Sylvania Campus to host Fireside Chats on ‘Budget 101’

Want to learn more about college budget operations? If so, plan to attend the next Fireside Chat with Sylvania Campus President Linda Gerber and others.

The chats will take place from noon to 1 p.m. in the TLC Lounge on the following dates:
- Wednesday, Jan. 19 – “Budget 101,” (3-4 p.m.)
- Monday, Jan. 31 – Open theme
- Wednesday, Feb. 16 – Bond-funded improvements
- Monday, March 7 – Open theme
The success of last term’s chats at Sylvania has led to more being booked for the winter 2011 term. The forums serve as a means to engage in conversation with faculty and staff about a variety of topics – to take in questions, concerns, suggestions and feedback. Some are “theme-free”; others will focus on bond-funded improvements for the campus or budget operations.
