Green Careers Workshop coming to Sylvania Campus

Join Jim Cassio, co-author of “Green Careers: Choosing Work for a Sustainable Future,” and local industry professionals to learn about green career opportunities. The event will take place Thursday, April 21 in the Cedar Room, College Center Building, Sylvania Campus. Cassio will present from 1 to 3 p.m., followed by an hour-long panel discussion.
Topics to be addressed include:
- How to identify green jobs.
- Where to find green jobs and in what industries.
- Types of occupations that can lead to green positions.
- Beneficial resources for green market career explorers and job seekers.
The opportunity is sponsored by the Sylvania Campus Green Initiative Fund. The event is free of charge and open to all PCC students, staff and faculty.
