The Northview Gallery at the Sylvania Campus is hosting the exhibit, “The Organic Architecture of Books, from Nov. 10 through Dec. 16. The show features four Portland area artists that explore the book format including its narrative and sculptural potential. Sarah Horowitz , Angela Katona-Batchelor, Diane Jacobs, and Barbara Tetenbaum each approach the book medium through specific conceptual frameworks, which begin both in nature and within the artificial constructs of the book itself.

The gallery will host an opening reception for the artists from 2-4 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 10. Everyone is welcome to attend. The Northview Gallery is located in Room 214 of the CT Building. Gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. For more information, call (971) 722-4264.
