New PCC President Jeremy Brown tours PCC district

On Monday, July 1, was the first day for new PCC’s President Jeremy Brown. To celebrate his first day on the job, President Brown traveled around the college on a PCC Shuttle to meet the PCC community at campuses and centers. We blogged about his progress all day so relive a bit of his day.

UPDATE: 1:25 p.m.

Since it is President Brown’s first day, he has been inundated with lots of gifts at each campus and center. He is even getting welcoming signs on golf carts, which guided his shuttle onto the Rock Creek Campus.

Brown was given the keys to one of Think Big’s Caterpillars, successfully operating the back hoe. Now it’s lunch time!

Jeremy took the Max train from Hillsboro Center to Willow Creek. The train carves through the heart of Washington County.

Staff are setting up at the Performing Arts Center at the Sylvania Campus for Jeremy Brown’s party. So faculty and students will be gathering as well. Come on down if you are based at Sylvania!

Welcome Mr. Brown to our beautiful season changing state of Oregon. I too am a new member of PCC through the Experience Works program located at Willow Creek. I hope your visit is informative as well as welcoming.
