Art exhibit ‘Transformation Chase’ shifts between styles

Today (Jan. 12) the North View Gallery (CT 214) at the Sylvania Campus is hosting the exhibit “Transformation Chase” through Saturday, Feb. 14.

This exhibition include works by artists Pat Boas, Brendan Clenaghan, Michelle Ross and David Schell, who pursue image production as a type of transformation chase, or shape shifting – “hunting down forms of visual language where slippage between systems and chance coexist with erasure and evidence.” There will be a reception with the artists from 4-7 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 21 and a closing talk at 2 p.m., Feb. 14, in the gallery.
