EET students get robotic with their EET 242 class final presentations

Photos and Story by

This class seems a bit robotic. And that’s the point.

David Goldman’s Electronic Engineering Technology 242 class, “Microcontroller/Embedded Systems,” showed off their creations in a finals presentation in the CC Building at Sylvania Campus on Wednesday, Dec. 2. This fall, students were introduced to the use, characterization, analysis, troubleshooting and programming of microcontrollers and embedded systems in order to apply the knowledge to built devices. As a result, they got to construct a system with user controls and electronic systems, including counters, timers, ports, and memory. Some robots tracked types of color, like anything red, while others followed lines on a mat. Whatever the creation, all of the students had fun showing off what they learned.
