Temporary Retention Coordinator Position

PCC’s Title III Grant is recruiting for a temporary Retention Coordinator starting January 2, 2008, ending September 30, 2008. Current APs and Classified staff meeting the job qualifications are invited to apply. Salary range: $39,570 to $42,389 (AP 4, Step 1, 2, or 3 depending upon qualifications).
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Liberal Arts, Social Science or related field. Experience performing the duties of this job may substitute for the degree requirement on a year for year basis. Demonstrated experience working with students in higher education, student retention practices and programs. Experience designing and implementing successful strategies and programs involving faculty and staff. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts and ideas to individuals and groups.
